March 18, 2021 - Emerges from the glass with a heavenly note of crushed dried flowers and lemon oil. Coats the palate with a 30-45 second finish. Such skillful winemaking.

December 4, 2020 - Over two nights. Very good / excellent. Richly textured and smooth, showing tropical and ripe orchard fruits and a very long finish. A real joy to drink. I do wish it showed some more breadth of character. Though full and rich and balanced so well, it did lack some energy and complexity. Still, what a nice wine. There is no doubt this points to white burgundy, but it is still at least as much a California Chardonnay. (I may be a bit stingy with the '90' given the impeccable quality of the fruit and deft winemaking and beautiful finish.)

April 21, 2020 - My last bottle of this vintage and it certainly was a great final act. This has settled in to a mature matriarch versus a blossoming princess. The tropical notes still exist but in a more subdued and sophisticated fashion. The pale gold color looks more old world than new and the continued emergence of minerality and the full integration of the fruit is nearing completion. This was delightful to drink at this point in maturity and was a great compliment to a meal of vodka-brined salmon and roasted broccoli.

March 28, 2020 - Acidic, steely and precise. Spicy melon and pear notes. Has verve and body at once. I don't anticipate much advantage to holding beyond a couple years.
