December 30, 2020 - This is so astonishing because it is a Syrah that does not really reveal the grape but above all the terroir of Ribera del Duero. I always enjoy drinking this special wine, trying to detect its origins and the grape. There is a beautiful architecture of tannins, a lot of them coming from very good French oak completamented by white pepper and inidian spices. Blueberry, dried prunes and some liquorice forming a proper aftertaste for this formidable wine. Only the price tag is a bit irritating in my eyes. Give this beauty another 2 or 3 years to present itself in the best light.
