Community Tasting Notes 1

  • Tim Heaton Likes this wine:

April 1, 2017 - { #TasteAltoPiemonte } Notwithstanding its youth, this is already living up to its Cru pedigree. From a 5Ha plot, this organically farmed wine sees ~15 days of maceration on the skins; pump-overs are done by automated sprinklers, kinda cool. Raised in tonneau for 3 years, this is pretty serious wine here, with pockets of crushed flowers, spice and ripe red fruits, but today the impressive structure has this keeping most cards close to the vest. That said, what is able to be seen today, is, as usual, impressive. 14,0% abv., drink 2020-2035; solid potential to get even better. recommended+
