October 20, 2023 - klassieke smaak, zoet en zuur in balans, heel mooi, med. zuren, bosbes, prettig.

September 21, 2019 - With its licorice infused, dark red berry, coffee bean and mocha personality, the wine is round, forward and loaded with sweet, ripe, juicy fruits.

March 13, 2019 - UNION DES GRANDS CRUS DE BORDEAUX 2016 VINTAGE SAN FRANCISCO. Nose of oak, forest floor, black berry, and cassis, same on the palate, medium/big body, lovely fruit, touch simple, needs 2 years to peak, good QPR, medium amount of tannins hurt score, and a lovely finish.

February 11, 2019 - Loads of ripe, juicy, dark red fruits with a blast of licorice, chocolate and strong espresso note rides on top on the fleshy berries. Round, forward and easy to like, you can enjoy this on release, or with a few years of aging.

January 21, 2019 - Zachys Grands Crus de Bordeaux 2016 (New York City, NY): While brief in tasting I simply did not get worthiness. Pricey for the quality. Dried earth, surrounding muted red fruits. Unpleasant and perhaps simply too young to be tasting. I remain hopeful that this achieves its potential but .... I doubt this wine gets there.
