April 20, 2024 - This is a fun, very enjoyable wine. For the price point, it’s pulls off quite a few tricks, giving an initial impression of richness (black currant, clove, spice). On closer inspection it lacks much complexity and may show signs of a bit too much work being done post-picking (a lot of oak and blending of Carmenere). All that said, for the money - this is most enjoyable.

May 13, 2023 - Lilac and plum alongside earthy aromas from the glass. Black cherry, cranberry before hedgerow fruits and wooded notes, cinnamon and leather on the finish. Softly textured with the oak well integrated and gentle tannins. Not massively complex but hugely enjoyable and drinking very well.

October 24, 2020 - I was eager to pop this due to previous notes, but what a mistake that was! This appeared so dissapointing upon opening, but the wine increased and developed so much as evening went by. So, please wait couple of years if you have this!

October 19, 2019 - Amazing fruit and driven by that. A bit of cedar and mushrooms in the secondary aromas but no more than that. Medium bodied, medium tannin structure. Still, very balanced and looking forward to following this wine which is the most bang for the buck that I’ve ever come across. Side note: Tannin structure makes me wonder if this can go further than 10 yrs. Either way, buy it.

September 21, 2019 - Ruby in color, the wine offers a nose of smoke, thyme and spicy cherries. Medium-bodied, soft and forward, this is already charming and easy to drink with its fresh, sweet, spicy red fruit, silky tannins and fruity finish. The wine was made from a blend of 70% Merlot, 16% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Carmenere and 7% Petit Verdot. Drink this on the young side.

April 29, 2017 - A nose of spice, licorice and black raspberries, the wine is medium bodied with a bright character to the fruit. The tannins are ripe, the fruit is fresh with a hint of chocolate and you really feel the addition of the Carmenere and Petit Verdot, which lends all the spicy qualities. Give this a few years to age. The wine was made from a blend of 70% Merlot, 16% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Carmenere and 7% Petit Verdot. The harvest began September 29, starting with the Merlot and finishing October 15 with the Carmenere.
