October 23, 2023 - Oxydated, some hint of tropical fruits, no length. Past its time.

October 8, 2023 - Very advanced, with nutty notes. Sauv Blanc aleays struggles to age once it has seen oxygen during the wine making process. Being ultra reductive with this grape is a much safer bet.

April 4, 2023 - Proposed as a wine that could stand up to a sweetbread with parmesan and truffle sauce, which it proved it was. This is almost a 50/50 Sauv/Sem blend, with some malolactic fermentation, and it bore even less resemblance to the stereotypical Sauvignon Blanc than most white Bordeaux, being soft and creamy with quince and a touch of honey. Pretty powerful through the midpalate but caressing on the finish. That said, although the wine was luxurious, it wasn't especially exciting.

August 19, 2022 - my first two bottles were somewhat horrid alcoholic overblown tropical bombs with absolutely no resemblence to a white bordeaux.

I opened this for a friend whose palate is both discerning and familiar with white bordeaux to be a second opinion on this for me but my first taste was like "hello, what have we here?"
Now it is still leaning heavily tropical as if it was overripe at harvest but now we have a laser acidity counterbalancing the fruit and the alcohol has receded. I am a fan of acidity in wine but the acidity in the end one , but the prior bottles were not quite drinkable for me and this shows some promise . There was an estimated from Neal Martin that this could go until 2038. Although I doubt that I do feel having waited an extra year may have given this some integration that it needed.
