December 26, 2023 - It was worth to wait another 2 years. Now it tastes much more harmonious and soften.

February 27, 2022 - Underwhelming. Heavy tobacco and almost musty oak. Smoothed out after a couple hours of air though.

January 8, 2022 - Really good with Cotton Bottom garlic cheeseburgers. The nose is a little reticent initially but opens up more after 30 minutes. Pretty black fruit. Vanilla

December 9, 2020 - This had a pretty cherry blossom nose. The palate was tart cherry, blackberry, and pomegranate that went well with ribeye steaks. I think that it would benefit from a little more aging for the tannins to soften. This bottle was better than the last 6 months ago.

November 9, 2020 - PNP. After 30 minutes it opens up. Cherry nose. Chalky texturally on the finish without food but softer tannins with a burger and fries. Tart cherry, cranberry, and herbal finish.

December 1, 2019 - With classic weight and good impact, the 16 Boutisse shows a slightly tart cranberry and rubber nose. Plush and peppery on the palate. Finishes well.

November 29, 2019 - A blend of 88% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Carmenère, this has an elegant and ripe nose of red & black cherries, blueberries with savoury and earthy accents. The full-bodied palate is firmly structured and a touch chalky with lovely aroma replays, plus some graphite notes. Rich with balanced acids and excellent length on the grippy finish. Score: 91+ pts

September 21, 2019 - This is a hit. The wine has fatness, it is also richly textured and fruity. But it also shows minerality, complexity, concentration and freshness, which makes all that ripe fruit taste as good as it feels. This is one of the better values in Saint Emilion today!

April 29, 2017 - Juicy, ripe, fresh, sweet, ripe, black and red fruits, earthy and licorice kick things off. Round textured, with a polished, spicy, ripe, plummy finish.
