February 25, 2019 - UCGB tasting Bordeaux 2016 (Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam.): Concentrated and powerful, apricots and a firm dose of sweetness. Quite overwhelming at the moment.
February 25, 2019 - Amsterdam UGCB Tasting and Winemakers' Dinner (Beurs van Berlage / Café De Klepel): Powerful and completely closed at present. Good fruit, but the oak sits a bit uneasy with the other components at present. Hard to assess. Not rated now, but should be in the 92-93 range.

January 26, 2019 - Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux 2016 Vintage Tasting (Las Vegas, NV): This straw-colored wine is effusive of crème brûlée, honey, tangerine, tropical fruit and apricot on both the nose and palate. Medium in weight, well-botrytised and with excellent balancing acidity, it retains its tension from attack all the way through the lengthy finish. Drink 2023-2046.
January 25, 2019 - Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux Tasting of the 2016 Vintage (Metreon San Francisco): Most disjointed wine of the flight, lower acid, hint of the old fashioned aviation fuel nose. Definitely retro but I still liked it, would be great with a blue cheese.
