September 6, 2021 - Luscious nose of deep red fruit with licorice and blackberry notes. Palate is velvety with deep tannins (didn’t decant). Lime and petroleum notes towards the end. Good stuff.

April 11, 2021 - Silky, smooth, quite open - and very classic. Cool cat, you feel the cab franc here, balance is impeccable, cool, yet charmingly sweet with fruit and chocolate. Will live, of course, but very approachable - and hard to resist. Tasted over three days, keeps going. 94++

October 25, 2020 - Needed a lot of time to breath and was hitting stride on the second night. Deep purple with dark garnet edges, the nose expressed cherry liqueur, wet earth and a backnote of black licorice. On the palate, the cherry dominates and its hard to pick out particular flavors. However, with food, this wine is magic--reminds of Pinot in its ability to pair with literally everything we tried it with. Tannins are already reasonably well integrated and silky smooth leading to a plush mouthfeel with a long finish.

September 21, 2019 - Silky, fresh, sweet and plummy, the medium-bodied wine shows polish, elegance and refinement. The finish is what really brings it all the way home with all that ripe, sweet, fresh. red pit fruit. The wine was made from a blend of 77% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Franc and 0.9% Cabernet Sauvignon.
