October 2, 2021 - Did not show much on opening, but over the course of several days (vacuum sealed) it really opened up to a nice full-bodied merlot.

July 29, 2021 - Last bottle, wish I had more. Perfect with grilled sirloin.

January 19, 2020 - Dark ruby in color with a cloudy reddish /brick rim.

Strong nose of blackberries, cooked plums, raisins, dried fruits, oak, spices, vanilla, peppercorn, light vegetables, pencil lead, light alcohol, chocolates, herbs and light earth.

Full bodied with medium plus acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with plums, black cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, herbs, spices, dark chocolates, coffee and peppercorn.

Medium length on the finish with fine tannins and tangy cherries.

This is a nice Merlot from Washington State. Big and fruit forward with nice complexity, now. A good sipping wine and good for parties.

Showing a tangy finish with nice spices.

Needed an hour in a decanter to open up properly, so take your time.

I paired it with cheeses and crackers.

    14.5% alcohol by volume.

    89 points.

    $14.

December 26, 2019 - Not a complex or overpowering wine, but an elegant and easy-drinking Merlot that is aging well and should pair well with a good range of dishes. We enjoyed it with prime rib roast for Christmas dinner as a second bottle after finishing off a 20 year old premium Cab, yet it did not embarrass itself in the comparison.
