September 16, 2020 - Rather old-fashioned by modern-day standard!! At 12.5 percent alcohol. Charming nose of perfume ripe spicy mineral red fruits, neither heavy nor dense on the palate, rather airy in fact but deep and rich, remarkable acidity, super smooth, medium to long finish! A personal favorite, hence I scored it high!

June 23, 2013 - Drank over 2 days in St Emilion. Very dark and rich nose of coffee, purple fruit and cherries. Thick and creamy on the palate with chocolate and a medicinal note every now and then. Great balance, still young and a nice finish.
