September 11, 2023 - St. Emilion Grand Cru Classés Walkaround tasting, so just short notes (Amsterdam): 100% Merlot. In the bouquet cherries and dark berries. Same on the palate, pleasant oak, good acidity and round tannin with a pleasant bite.

March 5, 2020 - I really like the elegance and the balance of this wine. Almost Pauillac like in its graphite laden and firm delivery. Lots of allure and elegance in a glass for the price point. I see this sailing into the future and becoming just stunning in 7 years...Drink with 90 minute decant or HOLD

January 21, 2019 - Zachys Grands Crus de Bordeaux 2016 (New York City, NY): Medium body wine, slightly this in mouth and a little unbalanced. I assume that the wine would improve given its acidity and tannic structure but tonight it seems unbalanced and .... unpleasant.
