    March 9, 2019 - Tasted @ bigger Bordeaux 2016 arrivage tasting.

Notes of sweet plum, oak, dark chocolate, truffle and leather. It's pretty full-bodied, with medium-high tannin that is very good quality and medium-high acidity providing freshness. Good length. A very good Gazin but doesn't have the complexity and sheer class of the very best wines today.

March 7, 2019 - Medium body, nice components, showing potential, try again in 2024.

February 25, 2019 - UCGB tasting Bordeaux 2016 (Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam.): Beautifully ripe red and dark berry fruits, well dosed oak, good acidity and tannin. Beautiful wine with a good future.

February 25, 2019 - Amsterdam UGCB Tasting and Winemakers' Dinner (Beurs van Berlage / Café De Klepel): This is an excellent Gazin in the making, perhaps not up to the standard of the 2015, but even though it is quite closed at present, it has all the hallmarks of this great terroir.

February 9, 2019 - Gazin is on fire these days, and the 2016 is only adding to the flame. The beautiful sense of purity in the silky, luscious, sensuous red fruits stands out fro start to finish here. Full bodied and concentrated, the tannins are soft, ripe and refined, which is perfect to match with the lift and length.. A decade will really make this pop.
