September 4, 2021 - Good and decent but not great
December 25, 2020 - Cabernet sauvignon 52%, Merlot 45% and Petit verdot 3% blend from Left Bank. Cassis, plum, leather and smoke. Delicious!
December 19, 2020 - Rotbeering, mittlerer Körper, sanft, Tannine gut abgebaut und schön integriert. Toller Alltagsbordeaux, schon super Trinkreife.
October 27, 2019 - 2.5 hours in decanter. Red fruits, hint of smoke, a bit of cool sensation, herbs and tobacco finish. Med body. med+ tannin. Seems polish with some power, yet not powerful enough for an rib eye steak. Wine tasted better without the steak, drinking fine now at this stage but got lots of life
September 21, 2019 - Smoky red fruit, olive tapenade and earthy notes work well with the medium bodied, soft, elegant, silky smoke and tobacco finish. This is the best vintage of La Garde ever produced. Drink it on release or age it.
April 29, 2017 - Soft, sweet, dark red fruits, earth and black cherries. The wine is sweet, fruity and fleshy with an open, dark, red fruit filled finish, with just a hint of peppery spice in the end note.
