January 25, 2019 - UNION DES GRANDS CRUS DE BORDEAUX 2016 VINTAGE SAN FRANCISCO. (Metreon, San Francisco, Ca.): UNION DES GRANDS CRUS DE BORDEAUX 2016 VINTAGE SAN FRANCISCO. Nose of red and black fruit, same on the palate, medium amount of soft tannins, lovely fruit, rich fruit, ripe fruit, fairly fruit forward, medium/big body and a long, long finish.

January 25, 2019 - Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux Tasting of the 2016 Vintage (Metreon San Francisco): Not all that impressive but not defective. For $45 I would look at something else

January 24, 2019 - UGC 2019 Los Angeles (Jeremy Hotel, West Hollywood): Perfumed Margaux nose which shows well-integrated vanillin oak and wonderfully red and black fruited. Good acidity, but supple on the palate with clear soft fruit. Finely grained tannin on the finish. Not bad.
