August 10, 2019 - PHMG WAG: Tour de France 2019 (Col' de Lyon): Tied for the QPR of the night award! Like falling into a Southern France briar patch. Pours like Petite Sirah, smells like a Swan Zin from the early 90's mixed with a warm year CdP. It's big, it's fun and you won't try to overanalyze it. BBQ meat please! Now-2025.

August 4, 2019 - Did not decant, but would recommend some air if drinking now. Overall excellent

May 19, 2019 - Punching way above its weight class. Saturated purple color with a violet rim. Deep dark purple fruit in the nose. Tannins still in evidence, but smoothed out considerably. Good purple fruit. No, it is not complex, but it is impressive. Pure, unadulterated fruit. This can last for many more years, but it is drinking well already. Great value. 4-12-16-8: 90/100.

May 16, 2019 - PnP. Definitely drinking young.

Dark purple color. Nose has modest OH, blackberry, and tar. Dark Chocolate and black cherry on the palate. Deep wine and could have better structure. Finish is medium.

Overall very solid, but not sure it’s as good as the 96pts. Wine Advocate scores it.
