January 9, 2021 - Deep dark purple in the glass. Best on day 2 and although drinking very well right now, i will wait on my others as it has plenty of life left and it should develop into something really interesting. Right now, plenty of red fruit, mint and a nice finish. Very enjoyable and a killer QPR @ $20.
November 5, 2020 - Really enjoyable and in a good spot now, with no sign of decline. Good on PNP, better after 30-60 min decant and even better on day 2. The wine continues to evolve the longer it is open and displays a nice balance of spice and mocha. lovely
November 1, 2020 - It's amazing what a little age can do for a bottle of cab sauv. Was delicious.
October 2, 2020 - A lot of complexity for the price. Dark purple color, almost black. Scent of blackberries, leather, and plums. On the palate I tasted raspberries and a hint of mint. Very pleasant. I let it breathe a good hour before trying.
July 11, 2020 - Spices and black cherries, this wine pushes high for the price. Benifates form a 30 minute decant to wake it up. Continues to evolve. This is one of those wines you can describe as smooth. Fairly graceful and enjoyable.
February 27, 2020 - Impressive. We typically drink the CSM chards or Indian Wells cabs as easy going party wine or mid weeker. They're typically easy drinkers and enjoyable. This was much more impressive. Some layers to the flavor and very smooth. Perhaps a little light on the nose, but this wine is a good pickup and excellent value if you're looking for a cab to satisfy dinner guests without breaking the bank.
December 14, 2019 - Deep purple, slight smoke in the water. Really slight but there is and it's an awesome song. Inky, dry tannins, deep plum,. Spices getting involved, a black cherry cola. Happy with this wine, short decant recommended. Decant, but drink first glass immediately (pop).
November 21, 2019 - Big, deep colored cab that is very distinctly Washington. Smooth and easy drinking despite its weight. At five years old this one's still a baby. Good value for the $21 I paid for it.
