March 2, 2024 - Deep ruby, bordering on garnet. Decanted for a hour. Nose of blackberry and thyme. Medium bodied with a slightly peppery finish. Chewy.

November 8, 2023 - Château Clauzet Saint-Estèphe 2016 CB

(55% CS / 40% M / 5% CF and PV)
The wine is in a wonderful early drinking window.
Nice to drink P&P and one or two days later. Nose is not spectacular, but the wine shows his qualities on the palate: notes of cassis, blueberry, juniper and freshly ground fine white pepper with some graphite notes in the aftertaste show the typicality of Saint-Estèphe on a very high level given the price-point. This Cru Bourgeois sells for a song. (2023 - 2033)

September 15, 2023 - Drank 2 weeks ago. Wine was completely closed. Needed much more time. At the end of the bottle, wine was better. I have a 3L of this and won't drink before 2-3 years.

February 17, 2023 - This is a solid value in my opinion. Earthy flavors, cherry, mountain thyme. Tannins are still dominant. Nothing flat. We will see..wir werden sehen.
