December 22, 2022 - Fun! Concentrated ripe cherry, dusty leathery pepper. Great pop with a long bright finish. Nobody would mistake it for a new world wine. Plenty of interest factor.

November 12, 2020 - Really fantastic...very bright and explosive. Taut small red berries, ground rock, Chinese herbs. Really opened up over dinner. Give the bottle some air.

April 22, 2018 - Moderate ruby violet. Aromas of black cherry, anise, and violets. Medium bodied and fruity on the palate with high acid, low tannins, and 14% alcohol leading to a sour cherry finish. It worked well paired with a Stromboli, but its food friendly acidity is a bit harsh for casual drinking.

September 2, 2017 - Previous note is spot on. Very high acidity but reasonably complex. Leatherbound cherries, mineral tones, and acidity that is just this side of teeth stripping. Low tannins. "Very good," 87/100.

August 14, 2017 - A Chambers purchase and as usual for this shop, they sold me some thought-provoking stuff. Very high-toned, almost bracing acidity, with a fascinating gravel, granite note that you kept coming back to explore. Flowers and minerals show in the profile as well. Might want to give it some time to settle down.
