December 16, 2019 - My first Australian Shiraz-Viognier ✔. Surprised to see how much difference 5% Viognier makes in the taste. Not the typical big bold Aussie Shiraz. More elegant and aromatic. Blackberry, clove, and mint on the palate. A nice change of pace for the palate.

    November 12, 2018 - Very Good.

Clear, deep, ruby to slightest garnet hint on narrow rim.
Clean, medium, developing nose of vanilla, blackberry, cherry and plum.
Dry, medium acid, medium (-) tannins, medium (+) alcohol (14%), medium body (all glycerol), medium intensity flavours of blackberry, plum, vanilla and a hint of bacon fat. Medium length, dominated by alcoholic heat at the end.

Good to very good, juicy, fruit driven style, with just enough complexity to take it into the higher grade. Drink now, can hold, but does it improve?
    Great QPR weekday wine.

    Screwcap.

February 9, 2018 - PnP, with notes of cherry, red licorice, and black tea on the nose and palate. A background note of smoky sage provides lift, framed by medium acidity, and additional air time brings out subtle notes of mint.

November 23, 2017 - reticent nose; nice fruit on the tip of the tongue, but then not much to follow. Deeper, riper fruit, albeit with prominent oak on day two

    April 26, 2017 - Very good.
    Clear, medium, ruby with legs.
Clean, with a medium (+) youthful nose of smoke, blueberry, white pepper and vanilla.
Dry, medium acid, medium (-) very fine tannins, medium (+) alcohol (14%), medium bodied, medium (+) flavour intensity with blueberry, dark plum, vanilla and white pepper. Medium length.
Very good, clearly designed to be approachable early, this lacks the tannin and structure for extended aging, but is a delight to drink.
Drink now, can hold, but will not improve.
    Screwcap (375ml).

January 21, 2017 - First day this showed some smokiness, but today it's settled in with a good amount of blueberry fruit aromas and flavors. No tannin. Very well-balanced.
