Community Tasting Notes 1

  • Jeremy Holmes wrote:

January 31, 2018 - This had a very bright and unusual Ruby colour. The nose was extremely volatile at first with a breath-taking blast of balsamic. It breathed up really well and had a core of raspberry and boysenberry fruit and a suggestion of licorice and dried flowers. There was some porcini development and also a note of smoke and tar. The finish was whippy, with tart cherries a plenty.
