November 20, 2023 - Everyone else described this wine very well. Garrique, good acid, gaminess

April 20, 2023 - NWWOC has got it spot on, my sentiments exactly; rustic, spicy, dry, manly spice, a core of minerals, a bit dusty even. Great sense of place.

February 26, 2022 - I’d echo the sentiments of NWWOC below. Fun fact: the Versinos farm the same terroirs as Pegau if memory serves me.

August 8, 2021 - Opened about an hour before drinking. Pretty linear CdP all told. Where so many CdP's are big, broad, meaty wines, this was a lot more reserved, albeit decent acidity that gave it plenty of lift. Some of the traditional CdP flavor profiles, like gamey-ness, were absent. Paired it with lamb, so we were a bit surprised some of those traditional qualities were missing. Not the end of the world. It is drinkable to be sure, but at its price point, there are better CdPs or Rhone area reds.

June 19, 2021 - Classically styled CDP that won’t be for everyone. I’m on board. Moderate alcohol and good acidity allow wild fruit, underbrush, and tea notes to shine. Dusty tannin and slightly bitter finish add to the intrigue. Delicious and food versatile.
