February 16, 2024 - Oak forward. Didn’t pair well with steak and was better on its own. Maybe not enough acidity? Somehow unbalanced. Decanted 1 hour, drank over 2.

November 18, 2023 - Nose leads with black and blue fruit, dark soil/tobacco notes, and some oak. The palate delivers on the dark fruit, a hint of minerality, also some oak and pepper. Slightly chalky tannins, nice finish. This is what I want in a sub-$50 Bordeaux.

November 18, 2023 - Menthol, silk, tobacco. Easy to drink but much better after 2 hours.

October 28, 2023 - An easy afternoon with close friends (@ My place): Some barnyard and red as well as dark berries in the beautiful and creamy bouquet. On the palate dark and red berries, some sweetness, some graphite, tobacco, ripe blackberries, licorice, laurel, vanilla, juicy acidity and tannin as well as some pleasant bitterness. 92 – 93

June 11, 2023 - Elegant & refined after a 2-3hr decant. Dark fruit - Blackberry and Oaky Earthy notes. Hint of Cedar & Tobacco. Ripe slightly dry Tannins with balanced acidity. Long finish with touch of Mineral and fresh Plum. Went extremely well with Filet. Maybe a tad young but excellent anyway.
