January 20, 2019 - Good depth, bright acids, stemmy. In fact, the vegetal aspects are quite pronounced. Comes across as somewhat cooler than other Marsannays I've had from the vintage. A little disjointed now - will benefit from a couple years rest. Good juice for the price, though in a vintage as complete as '15 I found this degree of stem inclusion to be a little distracting. Or maybe it just caught me at the wrong moment.

October 24, 2018 - Decanted and drank over several hours. Good but I think it was too young. Will buy a few more and hide them.

October 10, 2018 - This is an excellent btl of burg. Needs a few years to settle, but for the price, I should.have bought a case. Nice nose with slightly medicinal, brambly red fruit, and a hint of cherry liqueur in the background. Good complexity. On the palate, acid slightly softer than I would like, but good contrasting density with more dark red fruit and a hint of cherry liqueur. Will benefit from some short term aging, but very good right now.

April 21, 2018 - Medium. Dried dark fruit, earthy, good acidity and balance. Good power and length. Needs a few years to expand, totally drinkable today.

September 30, 2017 - Early Release 2015 Burgundy (K&L Wines, San Francisco): Full ruby. More brambly nose than the village wine. Medium, quite sappy. Darker, more black tinged fruit, higher acidity, and moderately tannic. Gentle wood treatment, earthy finish. Serious stuff, very good quality. Needs 3+ years.
