November 12, 2021 - Slowly opened throughout the evening, revealing notes of sour cherry, red currant, beef blood, and tar. The door is ajar, but this still needs a few more years to really show.

May 28, 2021 - This restored my confidence in Barolo's as I've had several that didn't measure up but hit the wallet hard. No way this is a 94 as the wine mags indicate, however. Let it breathe for 5-6 hours and it opened up nicely. This is definitely NOT a pop and pour.
Dark musty black fruit...almost reminded me of the musty cellar taste of a fine Rioja. 100% varietally correct, blindfolded one could definitely tell it was a Nebiollo. Not quite robust, but closer to robust than medium-bodied. Has a few years left on it, for sure. -

November 14, 2020 - Acidic but not tannic. Red fruits, light, soft. More towards pinot than a bold barolo.
