November 16, 2018 - I was surprised that this wine is not more fruit-forward. It is smooth and easy to drink, but it took a lot of coaxing to find a layer of blackberry and other dark fruit. Acidity is moderate but noticeable, and tannins are mild to medium. Overall it is more savory than sweet, and it could stand to be more lively, but it is solid.
