  March 31, 2020 - 60% whole bunch 25% new oak multi block blend
  Colour deep ruby dark garnet hues pink edges 15/15
  Nose full intensity , ripe dark macerated cherry / plum , smoke , tar , twiggy ,sappy , savoury good complexity 27/30
  Palate full bodied follows on from the nose rich ,velvety, dark fruits earthy ,gamey , grilled meat sweet, Chewy tannins long finish 41/44
  Overall very masculine style , a little blocky , maybe over too much oak or too long in oak , these high % whole bunch really aren’t to my taste , tend to be sappy / twiggy , that said some makers get it right .meh 7/11

  January 16, 2017 - New Zealand London Annual Trade Tasting (Lindley Hall, Royal Horticultural Halls): Rich red fruit, beautiful sweet spices, the oak is more upfront here, loads of cinnamon and nutmeg.
  The palate is rich, offering high intensity, powerful acidity, buckets of ripe red fruits, high oak presence, long spicy finish
