November 14, 2020 - This is in a very good place right now. Citrus, pear with a nice backbone. Two more bottles— wish I had more!
October 25, 2020 - Beautiful tonight and much improved over my last bottle.
Lemon curd, mashed pear, white floral and loads of stone. Carries some weight but has the acidity to pull it off elegantly.
September 12, 2020 - Fragrant bouquet of pear, apricot and fig on the nose; lemon zest and minerals on the palate; warming, dry lemon on the finish.
Paired nicely with sautéed lemon shrimp w garlic and pasta.
November 19, 2019 - PnP with chicken. Ready, but not declining. Lovely and consistent with prior notes.
July 18, 2019 - Lime, orange zest, smoke, and flowers on the nose. Good acidity, citrus, tart apples, and green melon on the palate. Good finish. Lovely, refreshing CA white.
November 9, 2018 - Interesting flavors on this white. A bit tropical with nice cut and balance. Fun domestic wine.
October 2, 2018 - Very interesting mix of floral and citrus with a slightly bitter finish. Interesting and enjoyable. Enjoyed it right out of the cellar as the finish was a little harsher as it warmed.
August 26, 2018 - Pale golden yellow. Nose is aromatic, flowers, pears, green apple and stone. On the palate fruit is secondary to strong acidity and lots of interesting mineral flavors. Really well done, a perfect wine to pair with fresh shellfish. Not typically Californian, this would compare favorably to quality Italian whites like Greco.
