August 8, 2023 - Tremendous wine drinking very well, one of the best Sonoma coast wines I’ve had.
April 5, 2023 - Oh man. This was SO good.
January 15, 2023 - Very disappointed. No fruit. No better 2nd day.
October 21, 2022 - If I was a wine writer and had a better palate and vocabulary, I would wax poetically about this wine. Day 1 was superb, day 2 slightly less so. Day 1, I could have drank it side by side with a young GC Burg (Echezeaux comes to mind) and had a hard time picking it out. Incredibly well made new world Pinot for my taste.
March 6, 2022 - Quite acid-forward at this stage. Be forewarned.
January 15, 2021 - Medium bodied with cranberry, cherry, raspberry, mineral and light spice. High acidity with nice structure so cellaring a few more years is ideal. Good but not my favorite for the price. Also annoyed my allocation of 18 went from a few to wishlist only once the 100 point score went out.
December 11, 2020 - Deep ruby. Strong aromas of violets, mild oak and apples. Full bodied with tart acidity. Decent structure. Flavors of cranberry, basil and raspberry. Medium finish. Nice.
November 16, 2019 - Rich and luxurious. Really tasty.
April 29, 2019 - Stunning wine. Never had a Pinot like this. Beautiful aromas of red cherry, smoke and rose. Sweet oranges and red cherry dominate the palate. Beautiful balance with a good tannic finish. Absolute pleasure to drink. I don't know what 5-10 years bring to this wine, but there's no reason to feel bad about drinking now. Wow.
April 11, 2019 - Aroma: Smoky, savory and floral. Rich red and black berries with some jamminess. Hints of herbs.
Palate: Rich, creamy red and black berries with plums, pomegranate and raspberry. Herbal, mineral and saline notes. A touch of meaty richness.
