September 1, 2018 - Unfortunately pretty much over the hill. AN oxidized nose with some remnants of what it was. Bit of apple juice in the mouth, but also some taste of its past glory

June 12, 2014 - Light yellow in colour, extremely young! Nose of grilled nuts, mineral white fruits! Low in acidity, smooth palate, rich and creamy! Short finish! Very well made! Drinking beautifully now!

January 1, 2014 - This was a big wow for me, has evolved into an impressive meursault with everything you could ask. Balance btw acidity (now mellowed) and roundness is great, still power in the fruit and it kept on changing from nuts and butter to smokey and refined and back again. Loved it!

January 22, 2011 - This wine has aged beautifully. No sign of oxidation, phew! Complex and intense nose of honeyed nuts, lemons and apples. So fresh on the palate with excellent acidity, lemon oily, some apple skins. Not big, more elegant touch. Long complex finish carried by the lemony acidity. Excellent in its own right and it is very rare I rate village bourgogne at 90 pts.

October 2, 2010 - Dette var den beste (og siste flasken i kjelleren) jeg har drukket av denne vinen, perfekt moden etter min smak! Var nydelig til årets første hummer!

February 27, 2010 - Lovely white burgundy. Nose of lime and capers, with a little sea salt. Very understated. Sweet taste with a little butter and oak in the background. Lovely accompaniment with lighter meals, e.g. turkey sandwich or halibut. More going on than most one dimensional CA oak and butter bombs, but not for you if you lprefer that latter style.

May 31, 2009 - A lot of citrus and a hint of nutty carachter starting to come through. Persistant citrus in the flavour subdues butter and vanilla flavours. Not very powerful fruit or length but quite decent. Not sure how it will age but the citrus acid is too dominant for me at this stage.

December 25, 2008 - OK but too much oak. Some nice peach and lemon. Bad QPR
