February 13, 2024 - A great PN that continues to drink very well. Well balanced dark fruit with hint of spice, well integrated tannins and velvety mouthfeel. Paired with grilled salmon.
January 2, 2023 - A wonderful PM pinot and one of my all time favorites, although this is my first tasting for this vintage. Notes of dark fruit, plum, black raspberry with hint of spice. The tannins are well integrated and finish long and satisfying. Paired very nicely with grilled duck breast with pomegranate glaze.
December 30, 2021 - Nice balanced new-world pinot; expressive with mostly dark fruits. I agree with some that it may benefit from more aging
January 7, 2021 - classic Peter Michael PN. Complex dark fruit, some body and structure. Like Goldilocks Not too light, not too heavy. Beautiful fruit without being fruity. A wine drinkers Pinot.
December 12, 2020 - My 1 of 4 and the group’s 2 of 4 in semi-blind tasting. Lots of black cherry and kirsch on the nose, black cherry, earth, and a pleasant meaty umami on the palate. Awesome balance and finish.
February 14, 2020 - classic PM - lovely integrated fruit and balanced, needs several more years in the cellar.
February 5, 2020 - black cherry, plum, floral notes, new leather, spice; beautifully balanced, feminine style; 14.6% ABV; $125
January 17, 2020 - The 2016 Peter Michael Ma Danseuse is absolutely gorgeous with a deep black and purple core. Layers and layers of black cherry, leather, spices, earth, and a bit of licorice on the finish. There is tremendous power and energy in every sip of this remarkable pinot. The Peter Michael style is present throughout. You should cellar these, if you can resist.
July 19, 2019 - This is a very late posting! I apologize.... Very nice wine. Nose of strawberry, kirsch and dark cherry. Nice mouth feel, integration and finish. Much better after open for many hours.
