November 9, 2019 - Ponsot Clos de la Roche: All in all, another gorgeous and classic 1991 burgundy. Iodine on the palate, tertiary elements. Outstanding.

January 7, 2019 - Fresh and young bottle. Brooding soil and tar notes balanced by pure dark red fruit. Perfect bottle

February 1, 2018 - Nose was in line, if somewhat subdued. Palate reasonable but not what this wine should be. Brownish tint to the backpalate likely reflecting a storage issue.

January 20, 2017 - 99W/91R. Single blind with 91 Drouhin Musigny. Muddy look, sediments. Relatively dark red fruit with medicinal, stewed fruit notes across palate. More savage, strong backbone.
