October 3, 2023 - In this in between stage of not yet secondary but out of its young and fresh stage. A touch of oxidative nose that worried us but really this wine now needs to rest and be reproached in 1-2 years when it sin that fully mature stae. We do worry a bit given it had some oxidative touch but we think this was a result of the bottle rather than the wine or at least we hope. A solid 91-92 maybe more for now.

September 17, 2023 - Seems pretty big and rich for a Sancerre, but they’re good underlying energy too to keep things in check. Didn’t get a chance to come back to this, and I expect it only got better with air, but the glass I had was solid.

January 6, 2023 - Tried after Raveneau Butteaux 14. Has more residual sugar that is more apparent than on other cuvées. Very good though. Quite rich.

June 4, 2022 - Delicious. Opened 30 minutes, drinking great from start. Lovely nose, subtle floral and fruit, hints of lemon, lime, citrus. Moderate full body, crisp and balanced, long, richer fruit, mineral composition. Lovely weight as it melts in the mouth, vey clean. Taking a cue from VIETTY served with pan fried local sea scallops home-made lemon fettuccini, herbs, garden greens (often served with a Chablis), just perfect.

November 19, 2021 - Smokey and mineral. Drinking well. No excessive RS. Showed well on PNP. After an hour, was singing. Long finish. Excellent and looking forward to seeing how the next one shows.

August 25, 2021 - So not like a Sancerre - more Chablis than Sancerre
Hi residual sugar - ageing beautifully with body length and complexity..

August 3, 2021 - Like the 16 Les Monts Damnés...start with some crystalline rainwater...fresh squeeze more grapefruit, limes...quince paste...add some lemongrass, white flowers, dried kaffir lime leaf...ton of salty rocks, smoky flint strike, chalky limestone...then CRUSH and stir! Air out a bit for integration and harmony...this wine! Damn tasty, with room to grow!

April 24, 2021 - Medium to full bodied weight, depth is excellent but not cloying. Glycerin mouthfeel with piercing acidity. Alcohol is a smidge noticeable but controlled. Very pure scents of yellow tropical fruits, grapefruit, slight unripe guava, and quince. Palate has a bit of bitterness but is long and deep. Quite intense and piercing yet not over the top.

January 11, 2021 - Had three bottles over the past couple of months and consistent. A distinctive Sancerre, perfumed nose of white flowers with lychee (without the sweetness). Dry and nice acidity. Went great with scallops.
