January 8, 2022 - Drinking very well: subtle wood and butter with tropical fruit. an excellent backbone of acidity. Balanced and sophisticated old world than new world here. Should last awhile longer.

November 26, 2021 - Great showing. Clean, bright, taut. Crowd loved it. I preferred this to the 15. Tasted the two vintages blind first. Tday 2021

October 16, 2021 - Opened for my birthday, this needed a solid 2 hours to settle down. Strong apple notes with caramel and nuts and then a strong honey, dried fig, and mineral finish. It reminds me a dry mead. Not super sophisticated, but this is polished. New world in style to me, but cool climate. Nice mix of opulent flavors, but with cut and a strong mineral finish. I’d like to try one of these beside a Heintz vineyard chardonnay.

December 24, 2020 - Excellent! subdued; minimal oak

January 23, 2020 - Nice acidity. Crisp and more in the French style of Chardonnay. Can sense the cooler, seaside climate in the wine. A mark up in my estimation from the 2015, which was a little less interesting.
