July 4, 2017 - Aging well showing slight apricot and peach flavors.
November 30, 2016 - Paired with seared sea scallop risotto this was medium textured, buttery, with pear as the dominant fruit
July 19, 2015 - This 2011 unfiltered Chardonnay shows notes of peaches, honeysuckle, a beautiful, medium to full-bodied texture, superb purity, good acidity and a very interesting finish.
October 28, 2014 - Really resonated with me, I'm not typically a Chardonnay fan. This bottle was sitting in cellar since purchased at a wine dinner over a year ago. Visited the winery on a Napa/Sonoma trip this past August and was really impressed with the history and passion Newton puts into its wines. Going right back on the re-buy list.
August 21, 2013 - Light yellow green; sweet smoky nose of vanilla, grilled pineapple, and buttered popcorn; full bodied, viscous, ripe yet decent balance of tropical fruit, and oak.
July 7, 2013 - Consistent from year to year and a relatively good buy and QPR at $20 or less. Aromas and flavors of vanilla, apple, and. pear with some buttery undertones. Well balanced and creamy. Should pair well with a variety of seafood, shellfish, and lighter fare. Decent finish.
May 1, 2013 - Very decent, but not without it's flaws. Wonderful balance of fruit and oak. Pear dominates, and the oak is subtle and creeps in at the finish in a smooth transition. The major flaw for me is the heat. The alcohol is only 14 %, but I really felt it. Maybe a couple of years in the bottle will help...
April 17, 2013 - Medium golden color.
Los of vanilla oaky aromas. No bad alcohol or petrol aromas.
Great, complex chardonnay.
Vanilla cookies and cream and pears.
April 7, 2013 - Ap: Straw yeelow

Full bodied
Good length
February 26, 2013 - Light yellow color; tart apple, tart pear nose; simple but lively, fresh, tart apple, pear palate; medium finish
