August 13, 2023 - Tasted a lineup of 2015-2020 Cartology. 17 and 19 were the clearly the best wines, showing most elegantly and balanced. 18 and 16 showed as quite developed, and I would start drinking them now. 15 was for me too high in alcohol and not in the greatest shape, definitely drink up. All wines were quite intense with yellow apple, ripe pear, some spice, noticeable oak and alcohol and a bit of grip and an oily texture.

January 7, 2022 - Really lovely bottle. I failed to take notes on day 1, but from memory there were many layers and it was really lovely over 2 glasses. Although it certainly went well with my food, I felt drinking on its own allowed all the layers to show. Lively acidity, saline, floral, and I seem to recall some nice herbal or tea type elements (wished I had made a note of those). My score is based on my first day impressions.

On day 2, it is still very nice although the initial tastes are more generic, I can sense some of the complexities from day 1 coming forward as I continue to sip, but a bit more gently.

December 26, 2021 - What Mark1NPT said. could use some more time. Likely to end up a few notches higher with some more time. food friendly. delish. remarkably well put together.

October 29, 2021 - Pnp'd to a medium dark gold color, a nose of talc and lemon. Palate has clean tart lemon/citrus with lively acidic backbone. Beautiful chenin/semillon blend from old bush vines. At moments this is indistinguishable many other whites out there but with time, it evolves and gains a point or two due to its differing elements. Very perfumed on the front end, kinda nutty on the back end. Enjoyed over 2-3 hours.
