October 24, 2014 - Well made. Unique. Holding up well. Very Californian tropical/oily. Not very interesting to me (quite boring) but hey, I'm a burg whore. Give me a nasty Chablis any day.

    Not worth 1/4 the price.

March 30, 2014 - Last bottle. Had it along side 2002 Latour Batard Montrachet for comparison. Very interesting comparison. Peter Michael was much more advanced, more alcoholic tasting, richer, fruiter and showing oak, but the Latour was more restrained, acidic, balanced. Of the two most of us preferred the Latour, although both were very good. And, Latour isn't necessarily the most prestigious of Batard producers.

December 25, 2013 - Rich creamy chard but still a good clean line. Very nice glass of white

December 14, 2012 - Drank first glass without any food. Mistake...this is so rich you have to have something to absorb its massiveness. Once some decently rich edibles in the mouth, it starts to sing. Very long finish, and the extreme sweetness gets dissipated. Still lots of time left for the other bottles - no hurry.

December 2, 2010 - nothing short of fabulous. terrific balance and residual youthfulness that surprises even me. one of the best domestic chards ever. our last bottle. damn.
