July 9, 2019 - Angelica wine club - Raclette night (Strand Cellars, Croydon): Alcohol heat and spice, black fruits, vanilla, walnut and figs, cake mix. Lashings of alcohol heat, peppery and rather dominates the proceedings. Slightly savoury, thick, its a little bit over done for me. Unsubtle to the point of brutality.

October 4, 2013 - Delicate nose, raisined with a bit of alcohol coming through. Sweet and raisined in the palate with a little heat coming through. Comes alive on the finish with lingering notes of roasted nuts and creamy caramel. Very long
