May 26, 2019 - seems ready, but with several years more life.

February 17, 2019 - Not as bad as I remember. Has matured into a modern soft wine with some finesse, but it certainly isn’t even close to how traditional Rioja should taste, and it will not keep as long either.

April 21, 2018 - O estilo tradicional me surpreendeu. Esperava algo mais moderno. Ótimo com a comida, mas está muito jovem.

July 25, 2017 - I thought this wine was terrific if primary, lots of sun-ripe black raspberry, plum, and cassis, and a very long finish. Very dark garnet color. Decanted and started to drink.

April 1, 2017 - One cannot deny that, with a 90-minute decant, this develops into a very mellifluous, viscous modern red wine. And that it was carefully made. But is this what we want from Rioja? It lacks the angular clay aspect, the smokey earth and above all that semi-transparent red, tawny color. Compared with, for example, newer world styles like La Nieta or Alabaster, it lacks more terroir. So,yes, a hint of mint, lots of dark cherry, plenty of old vine flavor, but too much generic red flavor. The wine will be attractive to those who base their scores on CA and Wine Advocate. This 375 is ready with decanting.
