July 10, 2021 - Alone, this wine is an 86 at best, but I gave it a 90 after I blended it 50/50 with a 1998 Bordeaux that was past peak. Together these 2 were really impressive. So, I recommend buying wines like this, still in their youth, and blending them with older Bordeaux wines that are in decline.

May 22, 2020 - Better than expected, it performed well with lean flat iron steak. The tannins are settled, yet giving a backbone. The overall balance is good and rounded, despite the wine lacks finesse and is quite middle-of-the-road in style. 2015 is possibly at its peak now.
