June 13, 2019 - Less than 90! Very disappointed. Maybe I don't like Cabernet Franc? I love Merlot. This was dark, thick red you couldn't see through with charcoal, plum and dark cherries so heavy it was too much. From the nose to the finish, it was too heavy. Not my cup of tea.
It smells like blackberry, black currant, plum, tobacco. It tastes like blackberry, black currant (cassis), cherry, charcoal, flint, bark and tobacco. The body is full. The wine has juicy texture but very heavy.

May 25, 2019 - Opened in the bottle for 3-5 hours. Stylistically approachable from the start but still very young. Ripe and polished now but needing patience to level out. The 15’s seem to be open for the time being.

May 18, 2019 - Nose: Dark blueberries, other red fruits, little bit of raspberries and cranberries. There's a wet slate-like scent to this with a lightly integrated soft oak. Light earth as well.

Palate: Rich, dense, full spectrum of light to dark red fruits. Rich, dark earth.. slight oak and similar wet slate/bitter minerality/slight savoriness.

Dark, crimson-like Ruby with a slight purpling. Dry with medium amounts of strong, grippy tannins. Medium-plus body with medium-minus acidity. Great length of 12+ seconds. Another one from Bevan that's rich and dense but slightly more on the mineraly and savory side. There's a wet slate and savory minerality to this. I usually don't prefer this but it's still very enjoyable. Great finish as well. Not too sure about quality to price on this one though. To be honest, if I really liked the notes of slate/minerality, this would've been a point or two higher.

February 9, 2019 - Still a touch young. Just slightly disintegrated. Lots of oak notes on nose and palate. Paired well with a dry-aged N.Y. strip. Will be even better with a couple of more years of age.

December 28, 2018 - Deep ruby. On the nose black currant, red cherry and plum (all quite ripe) with cedar, sage (savory herbs), violets, Asian spice and a cocoa. Full bodied with big ripe sweet tannins. On the palate this wine is liquid silk, no harsh edges here with a long pleasing finish. A beautiful Napa Cab, that may tick up a few points if some more depth is developed with age.
