September 1, 2019 - Drank blind, light coloured, bricking, mature wine, thought an aged Burg, slight hint of earth, cherries, layered, sneaky long, excellent Barbaresco

June 2, 2019 - This was my WOTN. At first it seemed a bit tired and thin, but as is the case with Nebbiolo, it changed over the evening -- filling out in both color and flavor. This had all of the things I love about old Nebbiolo. Fantastic accompaniment with food (thank you Spinasse). Lovely acidity, with classic rose/rose petal, and some lovely earth and herb notes. A wine worth savoring over an evening, which we did!

June 1, 2019 - My WOTN but I'm super partial to this style at the moment. It was a touch musty when first opened and I had a brief moment of fear, but that blew off and it quickly darkened and softened in the glass. It's that light and bright style. Decent fruit, but also a hint of the more herbal here. As it opened over the course of the night it was drinking really well.

May 25, 2019 - at the home of two dogs, with friends old and new: very light transparent ruby color. Nose some stewed fruits. Palate stewed cherries at first, but with time more cool red fruit, bright bing cherries, with some richness. very light fine tannins towards the finish. Perhaps heading past peak? Still enjoyable especially with time. 92 pts

February 13, 2019 - Tar, roses, and red fruit dance an intricate and captivating routine, incredible grace and balance, drinking superbly and should continue to do so for years to come.
