August 9, 2020 - Un bon vin pour accompagner un met cuit sur le BBQ. Se prend bien comme apéro.

January 10, 2019 - Middle of the week, hamburgers off the grill with some roast potatoes. Nothing special, just a nice easy=going accompaniment to a simple meal.

August 14, 2018 - Luscious aromas of plums, dried strawberries, blackberries, and vanilla. Flavors of dark berries and baking spice. This is a fun wine with a big bouquet and robust flavors in exchange for about $10. For Bordeaux and Napa lovers on a budget.

May 6, 2018 - Good QPR at $10.99. I don't drink very much from Portugal. Generic tasting notes are of a full nose, dark fruit, and full mouthfeel. Tannins are big but not dominant, and the oak comes back at the end. Well made wine that drinks much better than a typical $10.99 domestic red blend. Would rebuy.

March 4, 2018 - Solid. Not flashy or profound, but enjoyable and well done. Nice for the price.

March 2, 2018 - Nose of red cherry. A bit like weak port, but I might be smelling what I expect. Flavour is red fruit with a bit of anise. Medium bodied, it really does taste like a dry port without the spice. Somewhat chewy.

February 19, 2018 - Garnet and aromatic. Some ripe raison and fresh raspberry. Flavors of dark fruits like blackberries and a backdrop of minerals. Juicy with lots of concentration and chewy tannins.

January 23, 2018 - Dark and compact; straightforward, but significant. Full, firm finish.
