January 20, 2024 - A delicious bottle of wine. Smooth, tannins gone, still nice black/blue fruit, good varietal character. wonderful for the price.

April 14, 2023 - Spice-toned and developed nose has notes of currants, cherries, cigar box, smoke, game and some heat. Taste is slightly dusty, less spice pronounced and more fruit driven with currants, cherries, tobacco and smoke. Alcohol way less intense also in the taste. Medium body, medium-high acid, rounded medium-high tannins, only 13% alcohol. Definitely a high altitude wine, and a very nice one. Probably will not develop more.

August 8, 2021 - Delicious wine, very balanced. Notes of dark berries, figs, balanced to low tannings. Paired with Italian meat balls with red sauce and pasta. Will definitely buy again if I can find it.

August 1, 2020 - Just plain ordinary. A medium to light bodied wine & was smooth to the taste, but it failed to deliver the typical characteristics & nuances of a well structured and rich tasting Cab. The wine lacked depth. Expected more from this well respected producer.

June 12, 2019 - Medium ruby color and legs. Light toasted oak and spices on the nose. Mixed berry, pepper and tar on the palate. Long leathery finish.
