December 29, 2023 - Drunk next to Buhl and this was way better in terms of
Concentration and focus. Good fruit intensity and bright acidity. Still super young but with a solid decant this shined thouroughly. -

August 7, 2021 - This has layers and layers of flavours. Great intensity and drive. Oyster shell, flint and a raft of minerals present. The nose promises a lot and the palate delivers. Plenty of depth up front and great length. My first time on Bassermann Jordan and I’m a massive fan.

November 10, 2019 - So, day three with this wine, and it has gained in yet further complexity and depth. Although there is (as you would expect) a tinge of oxidisation around the edge of the palate, such is the quality of this wine that it can handle it and still come up trumps. A remarkable wine that has gone from nowhere in my estimation to rank as one of the best German wines I have consumed recently.
