May 24, 2019 - Very well structured Nebbiolo. Needs a good decant at this stage, strawberry and a touch or licorice and orange. Only a hint of sweetness, backbone of tannin. Strong build.

April 5, 2018 - Still a baby, really. Nose is full of unripe red cherries, plenty of green herbs and some smoky hints. Palate promises plenty for the future - more red cherries and some cranberry too, tart and unripe in profile, herbal hints underneath, finishing with a decent serve of fine but aggressive tannin. Good length and (generally) balance too. Touch of heat on the finish is a minor quibble. Lovely wine if you like this style. I do!

March 6, 2018 - It’s very good for an entry level Langhe. Tart cherries, red and black liquorice, menthol and dried flowers. Serious tannin and high acid will see this age well. It’s great now with a decant otherwise let it sleep for a few years.
