November 19, 2023 - From magnum. Shows a very light salmon-copper hue. Very tight and reticent on first pour with some lemony citrus notes. With an hour of bottle decant, it’s generously showing red berry fruits, hint of butterscotch and oven fresh croissant. Beautifully long with a wonderful richness for a no dosage. Why is champagne always better from magnum? Everyone loved this.

September 9, 2023 - Brilliant, and in perfect shape for current consumption. Exotic ripe kumquat and other orange fruits, very saline, subtle richness and good persistence. Bone dry but not severe due to all the fruit. Wonderful with gildas and other snacks, and crushed a 2002 Dom served alongside. Either my palate or this wine has shifted since I last tasted this, probably both. I am learning that many brut nature Champagnes I found screechy on release evolve quite positively with five to ten years of additional age.

June 10, 2020 - Initially very much funk and je ne sais quoi - muddy water, rusty iron nail. Minerals, redcurrants, crushed nuts, coffee. Not for the faint of heart but my wine of the night.

April 9, 2020 - copper hue. big mousse gone quick and leaves a fine shy bead. rubber tire, stone, bread, and sweet herbs on the nose. big acidity but rich enough to pull it off. cherry, raspberry, and candied lemon peel flavors. smooth, long, mineral, sour finish. good, like this at the price.

    January 26, 2020 - (Disgorged in December 2016, base year 2014 without reserves, 100% Pinot Noir, dosage 0 gr/L)
Golden yellow colour with an reddish hue. Maturing nose showing herbs, earthy notes and a touch of raspberries following the minerality. Distinct on the palate with red apples acidity and with a creamy mid before the lovely and lengthy finish showing raspberries and lemon zest bitterness in a very pleasant way.
(Probably best with 3-9 years extra cellaring)
