February 7, 2020 - My last bottle of this vintage. Surprising good given the epic disappointment of the 1998 I had in 2010. This has aged well. Finely balanced, well integrated with good depth and soft tannins. Not a long finish, but a nice essence that pleasingly lingers on the palate. Cheers!

I'm not as excited as other recent tasters. Opened two bottles and slow-oxed for several hours. The wine showed secondary characteristics and still had some firm tannins, but it simply lacked freshness & felt rather tired. Put a 1/2 bottle in the fridge for a few days and found no improvement. I really wish I had opened these sooner.

November 24, 2019 - Nose of burnt orange, cinnamon, black berry, and black cherry fruit, more of the same on the palate, big body, very tasty, mouth filling fruit, rich fruit, time to enjoy is now, and a long, flavorful finish.

September 13, 2019 - Nearing it's end. Soft but pleasant. Drink her up.
