September 12, 2018 - Excellent wine. Went well with the rigatoni and fresh ragù. Did a bottle decant which really opened up the wine.
June 20, 2018 - Purchased at the winery. This is a big, big wine with painfully peppery tannins, loads of acidity, very unpleasant to drink right now, needs a whole lot of time.
May 20, 2018 - good.
February 22, 2018 - Nose of cherry, raspberry, cedar, sandalwood, eucalyptus, mint, cooked plum, spices.
Really quite nice.
December 29, 2017 - Drinking beautifully, though probably can go a decade or two. Merlot, Cab Sauv, Cab Franc blend with obvious oak influence, but vanilla/toast in balance.
December 22, 2017 - Soft on the palette, opens up with a little time in glass or decant, good with pork, goat cheese or chocolate
June 24, 2017 - Sweet tannins, drinking well now. Might be better in 3 years?
