January 13, 2024 - PnP. Rich and hedonistic. Starts with a huge nose of blackberry, black currant, herbal, spice, charcoal, pencil shavings, tobacco and earth. Full-bodied, rich with blackberry, currant, earth, spice, herbal, tobacco flavors. Long smooth finish. Agree with my previous note that while this wine is VERY good, it still pales in comparison to the Materium and still seems disjointed.

March 26, 2023 - 70th birthday wine. This was delicious with steak.
March 10, 2023 - On the front end for sure, so maybe a decant. Beginning to come into itself. Rating based on potential but not far off now.

December 9, 2022 - Blackberry, spice, and tobacco. This is a full bodied wine that is enjoyable now, but would be better served with a long decant. For me, it was holding back some on the finish.
November 17, 2022 - Day 1: 3 hour slow ox - bitter chocolate and alcohol; in shut down.
Day 2: after overnight in frig: calmer, blackberry, anise, enjoyable
Day 3: smooth tannins, blackberry, blueberry, black licorice, gravel. 25 second finish. Full bodied.
Patience is needed on this puppy….needs a 10-12 decant. The 96 is based on Day 3 (half of bottle).
